Kuvempu University has given an opportunity to the students of the SCMC to pursue their research work after their masters. It has four recognised research guides tirelessly guiding research scholars at the campus. It has well equipped library for the reference by providing various journals, magazines, books and other reading materials to make them capable in the field of research. As of now a dozen students have already got the Ph.D. degree and half a dozen have their M. Phil degree from this institution of the Kuvempu University. As of now more than 24 students have enrolled for Ph.D. degree to make this institution sound enough in the research and academic field.
